Bedroom Update

Posted on: Thursday, February 16, 2012

My latest project is sprucing up my bedroom. Using little updates on existing items, switching out the color palette, and adding some classic pieces with clean lines. I'm so inspired by Rubie Green fabrics, but am doing some research to see if I can find the look for less. I'm also tempted to highlight my latest purchase (headboard) by painting a grey feature wall. I've seen it in a ton of different spaces, and I'm always impressed.

(PS- My friend Mackenzie of Design Darling tipped me off about using Pages for layouts. I had so much fun playing around as I created the above inspiration board. Thanks lady!)

I love your room inspiration. Lately, I've been loving yellow and gray a lot. It's calming and still pretty neutral. I can't wait to see how it turns out. :)

Yellow and Gray are such a beautiful, but modern color combo, so I really like that you are adding in some vintage floral prints and classic pieces to keep it warm and welcoming. Perfection! Nice work!
