Let's Talk Ottomans
Posted on: Wednesday, January 25, 2017
The use of a large ottoman as a coffee table in a living space can bring in different textures and patterns. I especially recommend them to clients that need a "kid friendly" space. A fabric ottoman can withstand the beating of a toy digger, or an actual child climbing or falling in the space (no stitches please). Here are a few of my favorites right now:

These oversized it girl earrings are EVERYTHING! Sold out by most vendors on the web you can either check the stockist, or you can order straight from Annie Costello Brown. Prepare yourself for a four to six week wait for these pretties to be handmade in Los Angeles.

Just a quick example of some e-design I'm working on for a client. Rugs are one aspect of design that we are tackling. Here's an example of my suggestions for rugs that have subtle variations yet compliment one another in both their style and color palettes.

The office wallpaper in this Southhampton estate slays me. Eskayel's Galileo Glass in shale is so on my wallpaper bucket list!

Top Left: From my Instagram where I posted on integrating these footed serving bowls into my collection of tableware. I LOVE them!
Top Right: Curtains I can get behind. Neutral coloring but an interesting ikat pattern that updates a traditional striped look. AND they are on SALE.
Bottom: The large scale of the rolling kitchen island is this home tour is phenomenal! Completely functional yet allows for visual space. Keeps the kitchen feeling open and airy compared to a cumbersome stationary island with cabinetry below.

A more traditional proposal for a small family den. Which do you prefer? Yesterday's look or this one?

My take on a family friendly den perfect for game night. Calming colors and boho vibes with pouf seating are my recommendations for this space.

Cocktail Hour
Posted on: Monday, January 9, 2017
I love having friends come in from out of town and while I'm in no way prepared to cook an entire meal, I do enjoy putting on a small cocktail hour prior to heading out for the evening. Lots of little bites, extra seating, and a cozy seating arrangement help to create an intimate yet informal gathering. I needed a few more small bowls so I've just ordered from The Cambridge Collection. The price was too attractive to pass up!
Shop my picks above, and do tell me... what are your go to snacks for cocktail hour with guests?

I'm feeling like I need to change up the bedroom for the new year and an easy way to do it is by changing out the bedding. Here are a few options I'm considering. Do you have a favorite go-to for bedding? I like to keep it neutral yet visually interesting.
