I love shopping small and was thrilled to discover @lebazarcostal on Instagram. I just grabbed these shoes and am looking to snag this dress as well! Sally is a fellow Philly gal and so sweet! She has an impeccable edit of limited edition clothing and home goods that she either has designed herself or personally handpicked for her store. Working in small batches, Sally ensures that you truly get a treasured item that has not been mass produced.

Kacey Hughes' work is quite popular! I'm particularly drawn to "Musings on Green" because I taught lower elementary for eleven years! One school I spent five years at was quite traditional in their writing instruction. Students penmanship was meticulously taught. The green background and fluid lines remind me of a traditional green chalkboard and the beginning process of teaching/learning script. I love the crisp contrast of white chalk against a green board. Technology has all but phased them out- so it's such a pleasant and nostalgic nod to education.

The lantern featured top right is my next purchase and will go somewhere.... anywhere, in our next home.

This Isabel Marant belt is my go-to for wearing with dresses! It's well priced ($120) and versatile. I sized up and purchased a large.

Lastly, The Green Vase geranium plant has been on my "wish list" for probably two years or so. I finally gifted it to myself this Mother's Day and it usually takes 6-8 weeks to ship. I'm so excited and honestly, I've completely forgotten what color blossom I ordered? I'm very much looking forward to the surprise when it arrives.

Target Run & Done

I'm doing a little guest room refresh for my mother here in Florida and I was shocked by how much I grabbed during one trip to target. I paired this quilt and shams with these sheets for a little print mixing fun. I also grabbed this solid cotton blanket in white for extra warmth. Rattan accents, because- obviously! Laundry is contained nicely in this oval basket, and the size of this mirror isn't too large so it works nicely.

We also grabbed this jute rug for a steal! The quality is great I can recommend it with confidence (not from Target).

This rug was a gamble- it was going to be perfect, or a little tacky. 

 Luckily, we found it to be perfect for another space in the house. Very impressed with it!

Caftans for the win!

My caftans are definitely the unsung hero of my spring/summer wardrobe. The most versatile pieces; I wear them everywhere. From the pool, to concerts... I'll even throw on heels and big earrings to head out to dinners. If you haven't indulged in a caftan yet I highly recommend picking one up! I may or may not have just purchased THREE more. Oh, and IF you're pregnant: Game Over. These are more comfortable than any maternity offering AND you can wear them post pregnancy too. Money well spent in my opinion.
