One / Two / Three / Four / Five

I'm pretty much a pearls all day every day kinda girl. Literally, since high-school. So, I've chosen five different earrings to try and incorporate into both day and evening looks. I went bold with my first purchase and grabbed the fringe hoop earrings above. They were on sale and I think I can pull them off because they look to be very light.

Summer Vibes

I had to put together a post that reminds me that it's still summer! I'm back from my big vacation and am now enjoying small little jaunts- beach weekends, catching up with friends, etc. 

I can't believe how quickly this summer is going. It's cliche, but time really does fly when you're having fun.

E-Design: The Living room

Here's what we came up with for the living room. 

The room is within sight of the dining room so we wanted there to be continuity in certain design elements without making the space feel repetitive. Natural fibers and bold patterns help the two rooms feel cohesive while pops of new colors add differentiation. I love that the room feels collected and has design elements that are varied. Classic, retro, boho, it's all layered in there.

E-Design: The Dining Room

The bad part- one of my best friends is moving far away.

The silver lining- she is trusting me to do a little e-design for her new space. I threw this dining room together tonight before we headed out with friends for one last girls dinner.

We went with a statement rug, repurposed her current shelving unit,  and kept the rest of the space neutral.

Packing!

Taking a vacation in August is exciting for many reasons but one is that most summer styles are on sale in an effort to make room for fall arrivals. Above I've pictured part of my airport look which consists of a nice big scarf in case it gets cold on the plane and a comfy cozy knee-length dress that I scored for literally nine dollars!

Do you have any packing tips? I always forget something major! I think I'll have to print out a list this time because not packing bathing suits (which I've literally done) is NO BUENO!
