Things I want but do not need ;)
I would love to use the indigo blue textile kit! What a fun project.
I've also been meaning to add Absolutely Beautiful Things to my coffee table book collection. I last posted on Anna here and here. She's pretty much a genius.

The Holidays Are Coming

Posted on: Wednesday, October 14, 2015

I know it's early but I'm already getting really excited for the holiday season! Above is a round-up of little wishes for the upcoming season
How about the blue and white ornaments? I want a tree with only those and big red bows!
One of my favorite parts of the holidays is snail mail! Sending and receiving warm wishes with the above accessories would be so fun.
Wouldn't it be nice to welcome friends and family into your home with a pineapple door knocker
Also, I've mentioned I can't cook numerous times- bread and cheese plates- I'm on it!

Shopbop is having their friends and family sale where you can save 25% when you use the code INTHEFAM25
There's plenty of amazing pieces but I wanted to highlight scarves for fall. I find that scarves are the easiest way to pull an outfit together and make it look polished. It's just a next level accessory and I think they are totally worth the investment. You can tie the same scarf a host of different ways and have a different look and feel each time (check out this book that gives you 33 different ways). I'm seriously coveting this cashmere scarf in heather and seascape heather. Do you have a favorite?

Gen Sohr does it again!

Posted on: Monday, October 12, 2015

My girl crush on Gen Sohr continues. I first posted about her in 2013 here when she was featured in the now defunct Matchbook Magazine. I've followed her over the years and recently caught many glimpses of the progress on her new home through instagram. She and her husband, Ben, are the design team behind Pencil and Paper and are featured montly in Domino. Their 1930's Nashville home was just featured on OKL's blog and it is not to be missed!

Are you dying? Yeah, me too!
Check out the full story here, where you can actually shop the look and learn more about Gen's creative process. I'm in awe of her ability to layer patterns and textures. They ultimately don't compete and create a cohesive look in a space.
Happy Monday!
Check out Gen's entire portfolio here and find her blog here.

Neutral pieces I'm currently into.
I think I should add a little rude nude to my art collection and I "need" more flats. Also, seriously into the idea of these overalls for fall.

What a week!

Serious lack of posts due to a ridiculous schedule. But, here's my latest finds. How much fun are those galaxy sheets above? Love them.
Happy Sunday
