Lust vs Must

It's a battle of the brands on this one!

Do any of you have either the Clarisonic or Olay Pro-x Cleansing systems?
I've read quite a few reviews on the two. Both have speed control, and removable brush heads. The Clarisonic head oscillates while the Olay brush spins in a circular motion. The Clarisonic is waterproof and charges on a dock while the Pro-x is water resistant and runs on 2 AA batteries. The Clarisonic is a bit larger, however fans of the Pro-x are quick to point out that the only active oscillating bristles are the inner ones (the black row inwards) while the outer bristles serve mainly as a splash guard.

In the end, would you splurge on the Clarisonic or save with the Pro-x?

I splurged on the Clarisonic (got a great deal on QVC) and have been very pleased! I think it's worth the splurge.

I bought a mid-level Clarisonic knock off on Hautelook for $20 (it was battery operated, adjustable speed and had interchangeable heads) and it broke about 6 months later :( I loved how my skin looked and felt, but this time I'm saving for the Clarisonic!

I have the Clarisonic Mia and really like it. I haven' tried another brand so I can't offer a comparison, but I'm happy with the purchase.

If you wait for a Sephora friends and family sale, you can get it for 20% off

I have a Clarisonic Mia and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I use it three times a week (and I have had it for about a year now) I got it at Macy's with a gift card, and it came with a free tote bag & cleanser. I purchased the Pro X just to try it out, and it is junk compared to the Clarisonic. It's like night and day! A few of my friends have the larger Clarisonic, and ended up buying the Mia as well because it is smaller and easier to travel with.

Hello! I never comment on blogs, but I can't help but to express my obsession and undying love for my Clarisonic Mia. My favorite aspect has to be its timer. It makes me take the time to actually exfoliate for the whole minute. My troubled skin is noticeably more radiant which has caused many of my family and friends to convert. I cant say enough about it, go with Clarisonic.

I have a Clarisonic and I love it! I seriously never travel without mine and I can immediately notice a different in the feel of my skin and how much makeup is left over if I don't use it. It's amazing! While mine was a splurge because I have the 'Pro' I got it for Christmas 2 years ago and it still works perfect. And yes, it is waterproof as I have dropped mine in the sink full of water. It also lasts a long time on a charge. I have taken it on a 2 week vacation and it maintains its charge the whole time. As you can see, I love mine and I'm not giving it up for anything.

xoxo.
