Dear Target... this is not going to fly.
My headboard arrived from Target last night! I actually gasped when I saw the box next to my door! I was able to lug it up my stairs while chatting on the phone- serious multitasking. I absolutely love the nailhead trim. It makes the piece. Of course they are not real nailheads, but it is exactly the look I'm going for at a fraction of the cost. The blue has more grey in it than I had anticipated but I think it will work.
The major issue: how do I get this up? Thanks Target for two metal rods and a bag of bolts. Where's the step by step instructions? Why are the bolts flat at the end? Shouldn't they be pointed? There should be a little box you can check when ordering. The "I'm a girl and don't pride myself on doing manly jobs-make this as easy as humanly possible" button. I actually told my friend tonight that "I will need one of those guns that spin" (otherwise known as a drill.) Ugh!
Looks like I'll be burdening someone with this task in the near future...

I got my headboard from Target too, and I love it (love yours too!) I had quite an interesting time trying to put mine together...I am so not handy but somehow I got it to work after a while...best of luck!
