Gift Guide: The Hostess

Gift guide season is here!
I thought it was most appropriate to start with the guide for the hostess. My mother taught me to never arrive "one hand longer than the other".  I make it a point to bring hostess gifts over the holiday season- starting with Thanksgiving. You don't have to spend a ton of money but a small effort goes a long way in expressing your thanks for family and friends.

Flowers
The idea of bringing flowers in a nice vase or pitcher leaves your hostess with zero work to do. No arranging the flowers or finding a suitable vase. A white vase is perfect because it's neutral and will work in any space. It can be repurposed as a decorative item or used for morning juice. This one is only $14.99 and this silhouette is $13.99. If money is no object this vase is BANANAS!

Cheese boards:
The contrasting marble and mango wood stripe boards are definitely on my Christmas list  (brown $45 and white $45). I like to gift cheese boards prepped with a nice spread of food as a hostess gift. These are pretty enough to even stand alone with just a ribbon. I would definitely leave these on display in my kitchen leaning up against the backsplash.

Candy:
An easy gift is this candy bento box. The packaging makes for gorgeous presentation and the candy is certainly holiday appropriate. Two compartments hold champagne gummy bears and creamy caramels dipped in dark chocolate and finished with sea salt! I'm considering buying quite a few of these to have on hand for holiday parties.

Yes, I did put a sleep mask on my gift guide- every hostess need her beauty rest after a fabulous fete!

Cheers!
