Please help! I'm continuing to obsess over the West Elm Zigzag rug but I'm not sure if its a wise purchase? Chevron is EVERYWHERE in home decor now... is it played out? Will I still like it next year?
I think if I use it in my bedroom it can easily transition to other rooms/spaces when I move. I'm not sure if it really even works in my bedroom (because of the small, awkward layout)but I love that it makes a bold statement. Just look at it in the rooms below...killer. What are your thoughts? Please weigh-in...yay, or nay?

I think it's gorgeous! I bought the IKEA black + white version and love it, it's bold + fun! xx
The bottom line is that a simple geometric pattern is never going to go "out" and neither is chocolate brown/ivory. It may not be as "hot" in a few years but my guess is you will always find a place for it in your home! I say go for it!
Less than $500 for an 8x10...are you kidding me? What are you waiting for??
I think you should go for it! Chevron is such a classic pattern and the colors are neutral enough that it would work in a number of different settings.
P.S. I hope you're having fun in Nantucket! How I wish I were there...
I agree with all the above comments. It's a bold pattern but a neutral color. And, truth be told, if you love it...you're going to love it for years to come. Go for it!
I hear you! I just put one in a project and I worry it's already everywhere. I'll go with Mackenzie and say it's classic:)
loving the chevron also. Have you seen this painted DIY with a cheap IKEA rug? Something I'v been tempted to try:
