I previously posted on the idea of saving all of your daughters Lilly dresses as she grows out of them in hopes of creating a quilt from the iconic fabric. Well, my friend did just that and made the most amazing keepsake for her daughter. By cutting all of her Lilly dresses into squares she was able to make this incredible quilt. Can you believe it?!

This is such a great idea! My friend has a quilt from all of her baby clothes...it is such a great keepsake and a way to remember when kids were young!
I have been saving all my children's clothes to make memory quilts for them when they are bigger. Problem is storing all the clothes! Certain items I'm saving for my (hypothetical) grandchildren to wear someday.
I found your blog through The Prippy Handbook (one of my favorite people EVER!), and have spent the past few days sifting through the archives. LOVE IT! Keep up the good work, champ.
