images via ada&darcy
Kellie Collis of ada&darcy recently posted on her amazing DIY painted jars. I have seen a few blogs highlight them and I just have to share too! I was so excited about this project that I actually ran home and tried it out after work. I had a vase laying around and some extra paint from another project.
First I poured in the paint
Then I tiped the vase to let it spread. I did find that I needed a brush to help cover the entire surface area.
Then I was finished and ready to let it dry.
The entire project took less than five minutes!
Very cool! And my mind is swirling with ideas for this one!

ReplyDeleteLove this idea! I have so many similar looking vases lying around, I was going to take them to goodwill but I think I have a better idea for them know. Thanks for sharing!!
