I need to switch up my bedding seasonally and this classic Pendleton plaid blanket is just what I was looking for. I'm thinking of also switching out the shams and think that these have visual interest but also a calming vibe. 

Dy-ing to scoop up this rug and put it literally anywhere. Blue and white perfection! Is it weird if I just throw it into storage until we move?! You just can't beat the price!

Industrial Entryway

Today I enjoyed a six mile walk by the river with the city skyline in view. It got me in an industrial mood so I whipped up this entryway- something I could envision in a city apartment. My favorite element is the knocker!

An IKEA Kitchen that will blow your mind!

I've been tracking the progress of the new series "Picture Perfect" over on the  Pencil & Paper Co. blog. Check out Meg's big reveal to see the full design of this lust worthy space! It's utter perfection! I am thrilled to see that the kitchen is actually IKEA! I LOVE the lotus fabric (and have been dying to use it). Lastly, you'll catch a glimpse the forthcoming collaboration between Pencil & Paper and Jill Rosenwald. The plates featured and the kitchen bowl are a sneak peek!

Tuckernuck Brick and Mortar

Tuckernuck's first brick and mortar in is now open in Georgetown! The 830-square-foot shop will be on the first floor of a luxury condo building at 1055 Wisconsin Ave. NW. Since the start, Georgetown has been called home for this brand. I love seeing this trio realize their dream of having an in store shopping experience.  Can we discuss the wallpaper in the dressing rooms!? The floral patterns is intended to evoke memories of your grandmother's chintz and I for one, am obsessed.

Philly Blogger Event with Lauren Priori Jewelry

Yesterday, I met up with these beautiful bloggers for an event hosted by Lauren Priori in Center City Philadelphia


Lauren is a Philly based jewelry concierge who specialized in custom engagement rings and estate jewels. I fell in love with so many of her delicate rings and literally tried everything on!

Snacks were provided by Clara's Groovy Deliciousness and they were just that- DELICIOUS! I was going to include a photo of my cute personalized cookie but I ate it on my walk home- sooo good I couldn't wait!


Makeup artist Shimmer and Spice gave us a smokey eye tutorial- which was totally glam but natural at the same time. She can even make custom makeup products for you! Literally a lifesaver when your favorite hue gets discontinued!

Best of all, I got to meet some incredible women and the entire event was captured by 

The Photography Co-op.
