Full Swing

I'm back to work in full swing this week and its left little to no time for blogging, working out, or really anything outside of meetings, and prep work. I hate to say it but getting into work mode makes me crave fall! I love autumn and am perpetually hot so there's nothing better than a crisp morning where I get to throw on a scarf and go.

Dresses are the fastest way to throw an ensemble together and therefore get my vote for closet space. Below I've put together a slide show of dresses, many of which are well under $100. I've got my eye on quite a few! Hope you like them too!

Back to Basics

I needed to add clean classic pieces back into my wardrobe and found a few great things to share. I'm usually the person who passes over staples like the perfect white tee, or a simple cozy sweater. On my last shopping trip my friend Olivia from O.Style helped me focus on my desire to keep it simple. I had such a successful endeavour and found so many pieces on sale. I finally purchases d'orsay inspired flats that are neutral (opposed to my previous hot pink and blue selections). The maud skimmer is so soft and I love the dual texture of the leather and suede paired with the exposed seams and feminine toe. We both scored slouchy black pants for work and a new pair of destroyed skinny jeans for fall. I'm extremely picky with jeans but love these because they are the perfect wash, are extremely soft, and are paper thin! I can't wait to pair them this fall with my mixed media sweater, booties, and a chunky scarf. The last little thing I want to mention is the St. James for J.crew tee that I grabbed. If you're someone who's constantly hot like I am this is the perfect lightweight item for fall.

Can't Stop Won't Stop: Blue & White

Have you all seen the launch of the Tory Burch Tabletop Collection. The spongewear pieces are beautiful and remind me of serving bowls that my mother had.
I'm continually posting on blue and white here so I thought I'd use the opportunity to showcase a few other items I'm drawn to including the above headboard. It's so perfect for a beach house or kids room. I'm also currently coveting the pillows shown above from my instagram.

Look For Less: Goodnight Macaroon

Have you shopped Goodnight Macaroon? Launched in 2011, the brand uses in house designers to recreate celebrity inspired clothing at a reasonable price. I'm so smitten with their take on the blue and white Isabel Marant Daryl dress. I may even like it more!
