In my mind each piece above is a "must have". Don't you agree?

Splatter-print satin pants... oh hellooooo. Love the bold statement of the color palette paired with the feminine satin and ultra modern slouchy silhouette.
The structured lines of the coach basket clutch are a refreshing new design.  For me, the iconic line always brings to mind polished, proper, rounded edges.
Kiss Kiss Tee. Perfect with leather pants, or distressed boyfriend jeans.

My ultimate heel for fall. Joe's Jeans killed it with this suede and leather brown heel. UGH!

Go big or go home wit this Kelly Wearstler haircalf necklace - I'm not just talking about the fashion statement... break out your wallet ladies!

Constantly looking for the perfect white shirt (no, not a RL polo from high school- although I have that too). This little white theory number  is a stunner! Yes I pop my collars so this one is perfect set against the half placket that closes with a hidden zip. Love that there are not buttons! Clean and crisp!

I have a blue pleated skirt that I adore (I actually just wore it to a cocktail party last night). It's very light and airy with a sheer overlay. Transitioning to fall this coated version provides texture, warmth and serious style. Love it with booties or a tee and heels.

Anything your closet is craving?

Current Loves

Happy Monday Loves.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Copious amounts of girl time filled with shopping, antiquing, a closet cleanse and a beach excursion is exactly what I needed!

Quick round-up of a few current loves:
1. These Brass Flower Starbursts from WOM are the perfect finishing touch for a coffee table.
2. My best friend O wears glasses and I wish I needed them too. Shouldn't she go for this pair of Warby Parker's. I can't get over the color!
3. I'm thinking I may need a little desk area in my new space and this laptop table is $39.99 from Ikea. My girl Annie, from Live Simply highlighted it in this post where it was turned into a bar cart. I LOVE the color it was painted and would definitely have to do the same if I purchased it.
4. Always a fan of garden stools I have to post on this classic blue and white floral version.
5.  I tried these lovelies on in black over the weekend. The leather is sooo soft and I thought they only came in black and nude. Now I've found the blue... uh-oh.
6. I'm wildly allergic to horses which of course makes me love them more.  Photographs of wild horses, particularly in black and white, are something I'm continuously drawn to. I spotted this image over in Calypso... pretty amazing but also really pricey.

Anything you're currently loving?

Quick post- literally running around lately and have such an annoying blister from a long trek in my little pink shoes. Have had lots of adventures so far this week and it's only Wednesday!  Next up, I get have my two best friends visit!
Will probably be a little slow around here on the blog for the rest of the week. Finally finishing the ends of unpacking, and closet organizing with my girl from O.Style. Thank goodness for her skills- literally a genius when it comes to this and helps me make those major closet purges that I desperately need.

One little find that has me excited:
This preview of the H&M Fall collection. I actually liked this round up of pieces better than the formal presentation. Either way, I love fall, and am getting ready for sweater weather!

Marshalls Project Fab

Posted on: Sunday, August 11, 2013

I am so excited to be partnering with Marshalls in this post for Project FAB.
I've long been a fan of the store for finding designer name brands for less. Whether it's fashion, homeware, or accessories there truly are amazing finds to be had.  If you follow me on Instagram, or Twitter you may have seen some of my recent finds at Marshalls. For this post I went with current trends choosing a pair of Vince Camuto mirror print pants. I paired them with a neutral Cole Haan heel, and cozy James Perse top.
Featured from Marshalls:
James Perse sweatshirt retails $125.00 purchased for $49.99
Vince Camuto trousers retails $99.00 purchased for 39.99
Cole Haan pumps retail $79.99 purchased for $47.00

Tell me, do you shop at Marshalls? What fabulous finds have you discovered?

Camilyn Beth- A line to love

Posted on: Friday, August 9, 2013

Cheers to the weekend! Currently loving this dress for the end of summer. Just perfect in every way but it's the ruffled collar that gets me. Rather than the standard cascading ruffles this stands straight up and feels almost Victorian to me. The short hemline and open back make it modern. I'd have to coin this "regal chic". Simple, fresh, and playful all at the same time. Check out the entire Camilyn Beth line here and let me know which piece is your favorite? It's so hard to choose! Also there's a custom dress shop coming soon!
Happy Friday

I'll take one of each. Perfect staples that can be effortlessly mixed and matched.
Love these shoes with a distressed boyfriend jean or skinny white jeans.
Pair this NYT tee with a leather pencil skirt and heels for a night out, or jean shorts and the above shoes for a morning coffee run.
Need these Warby Parker sunnies they have the perfect shape and tortoise color.
Then there's always the lovely Claire Vivier haircalf clutch.  I would treat this bag as a neutral and wear it with everything from cocktail dresses to a baseball tee and jeans- as shown above.

Happy Wednesday

For me, fashion and interior design are inextricably linked.  I'm interested in both, and often find similarities between the pieces I'm drawn to.  I think the above images demonstrate how the two imitate and influence one another.  It feels almost chicken or egg... which came first? Wear the room or design the space using sartorial inspiration? Aside from the obvious color palette and print similarities what do you see?
For me, the structured cropped leather jacket translates directly to the sink. Silver buttons and zippers are found in the fixtures and legs. The structure of the jacket translates to the clean lines, and the cropped peekaboo skin is represented by the open area under the sink.
The billowing playful lines in the full skirt is mimicked by the  bathroom's sconces.
The second jacket layered seamlessly over the leather cropped moto compliments the ensemble without competing. I would say the same about the gold accents in the mirror, and frames.
As for the shoes, neutral pumps provide the finishing touch.  Artwork does just the same in the design of the bathroom. It finishes the look, and blends into the walls without losing it's own identity and impact.
Did I miss anything? What are your thoughts? Did I loose you?

I found this blue and white paisley wall on Pinterest and was shocked to find that it was created by  Mary Ann Pickett using a stencil from Royal Studio Design.  She spent less than $45 dollars on the entire wall using this stencil for $23. It seems like quite a process but the end result is phenomenal!

Check out the entire room here on Classic Casual Home.
